where she designed and delivered all management
and supervisory training. Her first book, Communicating

the publication of a ten-module faculty training

leads workshops for faculty from a variety of
disciplines who work with first-year students
and helps institutions across the country develop
and refine their first-year seminar programs.
“The time has come for a fresher,
more engaging, research-based, yet experiential,
approach to this critical introductory course.”
