My favorite part of teaching is the "aha" moment when a student grasps the concept that was previously challenging them. The moment may come from an explanation, example, model, reading, or activity provided by a professor, classmate, text book, or other resource.

As educators, it is our job to share a plethora of high-quality materials in a variety of learning styles to achieve the "aha" moment. For the last 15+ years as a Professor of Biological Sciences (majors and non-majors Biology and Anatomy & Physiology) teaching face-to-face, hybrid, and online, I seek out and help create high-quality materials on the biology and A&P.
