I'm a Program Director in the School of Business at Spartanburg Community College, where I've been teaching since 2000. I have degrees in Journalism, Advertising /Public Relations (BA) from the University of South Carolina, Computer Resource Management (MA) from Webster University, Higher Education Leadership Certificate from the University of South Carolina and in the dissertation phase of my DBA doctoral project evaluating and assessing social media use of small downtown retail businesses. I am a certified Microsoft Office Software User (MOS).  

I use multiple Cengage digital tools in conjunction with software applications, business, social media marketing, and office technology courses with the addition of self-made, online videos, podcasts, and various other online resources. Due to the everchanging landscape of the business world it is important to stay current and relevant to engage students and Cengage digital tools provide easy and effective updates to keep the material timely. In addition, I provide support for colleagues to implement many of these tools and my lessons-learned in their course management.
