I'm a full-time tenured Associate Professor of Communication at Cape Cod Community College located in West Barnstable, Massachusetts. I teach face to face, partial online, and fully online courses in public speaking, interpersonal communication, and human communication as well as a partial online section of college success. I teach upper division courses at the college in persuasion and argumentation and debate. I also moonlight as an adjunct instructor at Bridgewater State University and Stonehill College where I teach primarily entry level courses such as interpersonal and public speaking.

I've been teaching at the college level for over 20 years and have taught everywhere from public funded two-year to privately funded four year institutions. Throughout my years of service, I have served on curriculum and programming committees, assessment committees, NEASC accreditation committees, all of which give me a very strong understanding of how different administrative constituencies influence and affect curriculum decisions.

I have personally been using MindTap since the fall of 2014, both integrated through my LMS and also stand alone. I primarily began using it with my public speaking courses, but have now begun to use it with college experience and interpersonal communication courses as well. In particular, I enjoy using the Video Library, Outline Tool, and YouSeeU aspects for public speaking, and It's a fabulous time saver and wonderful time management tool for even my face-to-face courses. I have gotten very adept at customizing MindTap for my students and it has made a tremendous difference in my partial online courses.
