Sandra Scheier
I have been teaching psychology since 1997 and online since 2005 using a variety online learning systems. I enjoy psychology immensely and believe it is more pertinent than ever to today's world. Teaching online has given me the opportunity to make my classes even more interesting by creating new content from the many great tools available. I received my graduate degree from Augusta University and undergraduate from the University of South Carolina. Besides teaching, I have worked in the field doing psychological testing, counseling and case management at hospitals and clinics in both Georgia and South Carolina. I have worked with individuals and families. I have done research on love styles with Dr. Keith Davis, and was also the research assistant for Dr. Jane Ellis studying learning styles. I also am a lover of the outdoors so when I am not teaching you can usually find me on a tennis court or hiking a mountain. My goal as an instructor is to create enjoyable classes by making them stimulating, entertaining and using relatable, real life examples.
