Single sign on, gradebook synchronization and deep linking learning content creates a more intuitive user experience for instructors and students using Blackboard. Let’s walk through the Cengage integration installation process and steps for enabling it on your campus.
When an instructor at your institution requests to integrate a Cengage platform into your campus LMS, they'll work with their Cengage Account Executive or Learning Consultant who will submit a request to deploy the course content to your institution. The request process ensures we have all the information we need to set up the integration and deploy the right content.
Once this request is submitted, you’ll receive an email containing the configuration parameters for your institution.
If you haven’t received this information, reach out to the Account Executive or Learning Consultant for your instructor to confirm the request was submitted.

From the email, follow the steps in the administrator guide to configure and test the Cengage App. Don’t forget, we use a configuration URL. To test the installation, you will need to sign in with an instructor account.
Once testing has been completed, Cengage will be notified and will deliver the course content to instructors who have adopted our solutions. Instructors will receive an email letting them know the content fulfillment is complete. It will also provide them with a Quick Guide for getting started with the course content in your LMS.

Already using the Cengage Building Block and ready to switch to our new Partner Cloud integration? First, you’ll work with your Cengage Account Executive or Learning Consultant to have the new integration deployed to your institution. Then you’re ready to migrate your users, courses and content.

This maintains a seamless experience for students who subscribe to Cengage Unlimited and ensures they have full access to all the Cengage resources available through their subscription from within Blackboard Learn.
