Who are we?

Cengage Student Ambassadors are a national team of passionate students whose mission is to help their classmates gain confidence, save money and succeed— both in college and beyond. As an Ambassador, you’ll collaborate with Cengage to spread awareness of our learning tools on your local campus. You’ll gain real-world experience for your resume, build meaningful connections with your peers around the country and help us keep learners at the center of everything we do.

FAQs

Our Ambassadors are part-time Cengage employees and full-time undergraduate college students. We employ both traditional and nontraditional learners, first-generation students, community college and four-year students, international students, and adult learners to foster a program representing diverse student backgrounds.

To become a Student Ambassador, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Enrolled in a college or university's undergraduate program
  • Have used a Cengage online learning platform such as MindTap, WebAssign or CNOW
  • Active on social media and in your college community
  • Able to commit an average of 3 hours per week
  • Able to work in North America
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Support students who are purchasing and/or using Cengage products to ensure they have the smoothest experience possible
  • Spread awareness of Cengage course materials through tabling, flyering and social media
  • Collaborate with Cengage to represent the student voice via focus groups, webinars, and student panels
  • Create visual and written content on social media and for Cengage’s blog

Student Ambassadors will:

  • Earn $18/hour
  • Receive complimentary Cengage products (i.e. Cengage Unlimited)
  • Develop new skills and gain professional experience that employers crave
  • Build your network with a nationwide group of passionate learners
  • Receive recognition by publishing articles, participating in student panels, and representing the student voice

Students are eligible to remain in the program as long as they are enrolled in a college or university.
